This is the Pyrex Zodiac 475 promotional casserole dish with original box, decorative lid/cover, and warming cradle made by Pyrex USA 1961. May have only been used a couple times and stored for many, many years. This beautiful 475 2.5 quart casserole in deep green with 12 round gold astrological signs was a holiday promotional item introduced by Pyrex USA in 1961. It was only offered during the 1961 holiday season. The item came with a decorative lid featuring a 16 point star in gold and a 4 legged cradle with warming candle.This pre owned and previously used set is in great vintage condition showing very little signs of use. The gold on the zodiac signs are in excellent condition. Interior is milky white and very shinny. the exterior is very shinny and the gold zodiac signs are intact. No heavy scratches to the gold. The lid does show wear and scuffs to the gold star. This is common for these pyrex lids. But no chips or nicks. And no chips on the bowl. No dishwasher damage. Comes with the promotional brochure.The 4 legged cradle has black legs and a gold color metal body. Some surface wear to the gold. No damage to the candle warmer however a melted candle is in the holder. I would think your could heat that for removal but it came to me this way and it shall stay.
