This sale is for a Pyrex Cinderella bowl set (4) in the Pink Gooseberry pattern. The set includes: the "444" 4 quart bowl, the "443" 2.5 quart, the "442" 1.5 quart bowl and the "441" .5 quart bowl. Previously I've sold two other sets in this pattern and both were in very good condition but these bowls are in totally MINT shape. They look like they were just removed from their box. I was very tentative stacking them for the pictures not wanting to cause any sort of blemish. I paid, what I consider to be, an above market price but was willing to do so due to their excellent condition. I've shown them to two local Pyrex collectors dealers and both said they are the finest examples (besides "New" in box examples) either has seen. If you're a collector and you're interested in upgrading your Gooseberry pattern these are for you. Only brand new examples, in their original boxes, are going to top these. They're so pristine and hard to find that I was tempted to keep them myself but the wife said; "At seventy, now is not the time to start collecting something else." I married a smart woman. Our Children are not "collectors" (much to my disappointment) so off they go to find a place of honor in some lucky Pyrex enthusiasts collection. Quick note, these were found with bubble spacers between the bowls which I removed to take the pictures but immediately replaced to preserve their finish. Due to their condition and desirability we will not be entertaining offers on this set, sorry. The wife and I are comfortably retired and we're doing this to get rid of three generations of hoarding and its pizza and beer money for the grandkids in college. We believe it's dishonest to make money off shipping, you pay exactly what it takes to get your item(s) from our house to where ever you direct us to ship your item(s). We customarily overestimate shipping weight to assure shipping costs are covered. If there is a significant differential (more than $1) between the actual shipping cost and what you paid for shipping you will be reimbursed (our 100% guarantee). If its less than $1, thank you for the contribution to our eBay funded IRA (we're up to about $39). Be assured that these will be extra carefully wrapped for their safe delivery but it may not be a bad idea to opt for insurance on these given their desirability and superior condition. These will be hard to replace should anything happen to them.Buyers are responsible for additional costs i.e., insurance, customs duties, enhanced levels of delivery, etc.. Notify us prior to payment if any of these "non-customary" circumstances exist in order that proper adjustments may be made. Just our personal opinion but we don't think insurance is necessary in the vast majority of cases but sometimes its cheap piece of mind. Also, if Priority Mail is selected you get $50 of insurance free, a nice perk for an extra buck or two so we frequently suggest that shipping option for more expensive or fragile items.
